Mini Fury’s Sticky Spareribs

Juicy, hearty, slightly sweet and spicy. Oh yeah, and sticky fingers guaranteed. Brush these ribs with Mini Fury and get a taste of greatness.


  • 2 l water
  • 200 ml apple cider vinegar
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 onion (cut in half)
  • 180 ml Mini Fury Hot Sauce
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 2 kg single pork spare ribs
  • salt
  • pepper


  1. Bring the water, vinegar, bay leaves, cinnamon and onion in a large pan to a boil. Add the ribs, reduce the heat to medium and cover with a tight-fitting lid. Simmer for 30 minutes or until the ribs are tender.
  2. Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  3. Mix half of Mini Fury Hot Sauce with the honey.
  4. Remove the ribs from the pan and place in a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Season the ribs with salt and pepper. Brush the ribs all over with the Mini Fury honey mixture and roast for 30 minutes. Turn the ribs halfway. Remove the ribs from the oven en brush with the rest of Mini Fury Hot Sauce. Slice to serve. Serves 8.
